XSL Transformation File (Definition)

XSL is short for eXtensible Stylesheet Language.

XSLT is short for XSL Transformation.

An XSL transformation file is used to transform one XML document into another.  Both XSL and XSLT are W3C standards.  For details, see the W3C page.

In RC-WinTrans, XSL transformation files are used to convert arbitrary XML files into XLIFF and vice versa.
