New Dictionary Dialog Box

 

Use the New Dictionary dialog box to new (empty) RC-WinTrans dictionary.  RC-WinTrans supports two types of dictionary files:  text files (.txt) and TMX files (.tmx).

Two languages must be specified for the new dictionary..  RC-WinTrans can use the languages in any combination of source and target languages, so the source and target languages do not have to be specified.

 

Once created the new dictionary will be added to the RC-WinTrans environment and listed in the Dictionaries view.

File name Edit Field

The file name of the new dictionary.

Browse Button

Click the Browse button to select the path and file name of the new dictionary (.txt or .tmx file).

Name Edit Field

The display name for the dictionary used to identify it in the Dictionaries view.

Languages Groupbox

Select two languages for the new dictionary using the combo-boxes provided.

Enable as find reference Checkbox

Check this option to enable the dictionary as a "find reference."

Check this option to enable the dictionary as a "save reference."
