Editing the Link Area of a LinkLabel Control

RC-WinTrans supports the editing of the link area of a LinkLabel control (.NET) caption text.

Specifying the link area for the translated control may become necessary if the caption text of a LinkLabel control has been translated, so that the link area as specified for the source caption text does not fit for the translated caption text.

There are two possible ways to edit a link area:

1.

Use the "Link Area" resource type editor (dialog box)- see Figure 3.

2.

Use the external .NET Windows Forms Editor- see Figure 4.

Select the link area in the Group Items tab view (Figure 2).

3.

Open the Link Area dialog box (Figure 3) by pressing the Resource Type Editor toolbar button () in the Project Window toolbar (Figure 2).

4.

Specify the link area (Figure 3), then confirm and close the dialog box by pressing the OK button

Method #2: Editing via the .NET Windows Forms Editor

A link area can also be edited with the External .NET Windows Forms Editor:

1.

Open the Form in the External .NET Editor.

2.

Select the LinkLabel control  and edit the link area in the property grid.
