Signed .NET Assemblies
Updated:  May 2010  (for RC-WinTrans 9)

Delay-Signed Assemblies

RC-WinTrans creates satellite assembly DLLs for a delay-signed assembly (source file) as well as delay-signed assemblies.  As the source file, a delay-signed satellite DLL created by RC-WinTrans must be signed with a strong name (.snk file) afterwards.

A delay-signed assembly is indicated in both the Source Files and Target Files tabs (Source and Target Files dialog box).

Strong-Named-Signed Assemblies

A target assembly DLL created by RC-WinTrans for a strong-name-signed source file assembly will also be automatically strong-name-signed.  The .snk file to be used must be specified for the source file assembly in the Source Files tab of the Source and Target Files dialog box.

NOTE:  The .snk file associated with the source file assembly must be specified in the Source Files tab of the Source and Target Files dialog box.

A strong-name-signed assembly is indicated in both the Source Files and Target Files tabs (Source and Target Files dialog box).
