Statistics

Statistical information on the translation progress for a project is displayed on the Statistics page (Figure 1), opened by selecting the Statistics command from the Project menu.

Use the links at the top of the page to switch between the Translation Status page and the Resource Types page where text items are counted and sorted according to resource type.

The Update button refreshes the information on the page.

Translation Status Information Table

The translation status information is organized into a table.  This information is applied to both the translation units and to the words contained in the current project:

Translation Status Information Table

Total Source:  The total number of translation units or words contained in the current project.

Total Source without Repetitions:  The total number of translation units or words contained in the current project disregarding repeated entries (i.e., only one occurrence of identical entries is taken into account).

Translated:  The total number of translation units or words in the current project that has already been translated.  Note that "translated" simply means that an entry exists in the target text.

Non-Translated:  The total number of translation units or words in the current project for which no translation exists.

Changed Source:  The total number of translation units or words contained in the current project for which the source item has changed.

The translation status information table is supplemented by a pie chart providing a visual representation of the percentage of translated, non-translated, and changed items in the current project or group.

NOTE:  The SVG Viewer from Adobe is required to display the pie chart graphics.

Resource Types Page

The Resource Types page (Figure 2) lists and counts the number of regular resource types (in the active project) as they are known from Win32 and .NET resource files.  Use the links at the top of the page to switch between the Resource Types page and the Statistics page.
