Posts: 35 		Hello! I've added the farsi language to my RC-Wintrans project and found out that the direction of writing is left-to-right there instead of right-to-left. The file that I'm working with is .resx. Is it possible to change the direction somehow?

You can set the (1) reading order (RTL, right-to-left) and (2) the right-to-left layout.

What to do?
Option 1: (for the form/dialog- see image)
- Select the title text ($this.text) of the form/dialog.
- Activate the "Group Items" tab where the form's properties are listed.
- Select the property "$this.RightToLeft" and set the value to "Yes".
- Select the property "$this.RightToLeftLayout" and set the value to "True".
- Ready.



Option 2: (using the External .NET Forms Editor- see image)
- Open the External .NET Forms Editor.
- Select the form.
- Set "RightToLeft" to "Yes".
- Set "RightToLeftLayout" to "True".
- Ready.

No, sorry. The text cannot be shown as RTL in this view.

Posts: 35 		But it is so for the Arabic language - the words are mirrored - right-to-left writing. Can the same be done for this language in the next release, for example?

Posts: 238 		Yes. It is already done for the next RC-WinTrans 9.2 release (October 2012?).
"Farsi" was missing in an internal list of RTL languages.
